Jeanmarie studied in London, at The Drama Studio, and has performed with numerous companies in the northeast, starting with The Academy Theatre in Atlanta, 30 years ago. During her time in Birmingham, while raising her children, Jessica and Collin Clark, she was the Drama Coordinator for the Conservatory at BSC, an adjunct theatre professor and guest director at The University of Montevallo, a commissioned playwright and director for The Seasoned Performers, Birmingham Children’s Theatre, and performing artist and children’s concert program coordinator for The Alabama Symphony Orchestra. She is an award winning playwright, an Alabama State Art’s Council grant recipient, a voice over artist, and former artist in residence for Jefferson County schools. Jeanmarie is frequently hired by theatres and colleges across the southeast to teach the Spolin technique. She recently completed her first movie, filmed in N.C. entitled THE ONE-EYED DOE and performed for the second year with The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival in this past Christmas. She is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association.
